You might say that I took quite an unexpected road to form and lead the agency that is fast becoming one of social media’s most talked about organizations. Or you might say it was simply inevitable that I would start making my own waves in an industry thirsting for individuality and vision.
Before launching Radsmith Social at the tender age of 31, I recognized the potential of social media to change the direction of digital brands well-before my college days. I set out to create the ultimate boutique social media marketing management agency — surviving a nearly soul-destroying job in the pest control industry to support my growing family and acquire the start-up capital that would fund my Radsmith dreams.
Needless to say, an unwavering work ethic and faith-fueled ambition have finally paid off. After launching on a shoestring budget with zero staff and just a handful of local clients, Radsmith Social has become the choice for a nationwide portfolio of elite brands that demand a show-stopping social media presence and ROI they can see and feel. Yet my humble persona and never-done-working sensibilities keep success in perspective.
“I’m not in the social media business, per-se — my job is turning businesses into brands. I know first-hand what social can do for a company. The transformation is astonishingly fast and relatively inexpensive. If you own a business and aren’t using various digital platforms to attract, engage, and convert your audience, then you’re leaving money on the table.”
While I work most of the time, you can find me with my family or mixing it up with other racers in the dirt on a motocross track.
